Light of the World Charities is an organization made up primarily of volunteers from the health and medical community, who along with other concerned individuals provide health care to the poor and sick of the world consistent with the command of Christ, “to do for the least of my brethren.”

The organization regularly sends surgical teams to third world countries to help meet the medical needs of the poor. The organization has also brought individuals to the United States to have medical and surgical procedures performed.

In addition, Light of the World Charities has recently completed a joint venture with the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal to construct a new medical facility in Comayagua, Honduras called San Benito Jose. Each month this facility will host other international surgical teams and will also serve as a medical clinic in order to meet the needs of the poor all year round.

Light of the World Charities is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization recognized by the IRS. All donations are tax deductible in accordance with IRS regulations.
