Light of the World Charities depends on the generous people that live locally, willing to give of their time and skills in the office and warehouse in Palm City. Every mission trip becomes a reality in our small office. Several opportunities exist for those living locally.
Below is a list of just some of the current needs:
Medical and Non-Medical Volunteers are needed locally at the LOTWC Office in Palm City, FL. Anyone willing to give of their
time and energy, in the office/warehouse in Palm City (both air conditioned!), helping us with fundraising events, and a variety
of other tasks are asked to submit an application. Medical and non-medical volunteers please use the same
application.
LOTWC believes that everyone has something to offer and we appreciate people from all walks of life. Once we receive the
application we will contact you to find out when you are available to help out and where you would feel most comfortable.
- Clerical, secretarial, data entries and a variety of office duties.
- Warehouse workers - help to pack for mission trips and help to
keep track of inventory.
- Banquet Committee members
- Assist with mass mailings
- Website management
- Newsletters
- Solicitation of Banquet auction items
- Public Relations including assistance with fundraising and
- Assistance obtaining medical supplies
- Airport Transportation
- Crafting rosaries for patients
- Arranging flower centerpieces for banquets
- Other volunteer needs arise daily
